So, this blog is going to be a little outside the norm of what I post on my webpage. Typically, I focus on supporting you with information and ideas to help you through the up and down craziness of this thing known as parenting! I’m breaking away from my norm because I am super excited about something and I want to it share with you. If you’ll humor me for a moment, I think you’ll see there’s something in here for you to get excited about, too.
I am part of a neat challenge in September. The part I am most excited about is the really cool group that is doing this alongside with me!
If you are not a ‘mompreneur’ or an entrepreneur/small business owner, I still have what I think is an exciting offer for you:
I would like to be your Accountability Partner in September
on my Facebook page.
What does that mean?
I am trying to grow my business and stretch myself out of my usual ways of doing business (in-person/via phone). I’m going big because this is part of the Stretch Yourself Challenge and frankly, I could use all the encouragement I can get.
Is there something you are trying to stretch yourself to do? Maybe you want to take more ME time or delegate housework, or maybe you’re training for a 10K or trying to designate time to your hobby?
We could encourage each other on Facebook! I’ll commit to popping on the page at least 3 times a week to look for your comments – and hopefully your encouragement and support 😉. You commit to posting your struggles and wins – only the ones you feel like admitting, no pressure! What do you think? Click here for my: Helping Parents Parent Facebook Page!
Please don’t laugh – it’s relatively new! Remember, I am trying to stretch myself and working on my Facebook page is one of the things I will be stretching and growing. I’m not giving up my In-Person/Phone coaching, presentations, and workshops! However, I am trying to have more of an online presence. Check back again at the end of the month to see how much the Helping Parents Parent page has improved (it won’t happen overnight).
If you are an entrepreneur/small business owner – you might want to jump in and join this Stretch Yourself Challenge in September! Although the live challenge is over, you can still get the Self Study all yaer! You can click here: Stretch Yourself Challenge! There are many challenges to choose from (starting with ‘writing a blog’ and covering everything all the way up to creating a YouTube Channel or a Membership group). And while the main idea is that you will be stretching yourself to grow your business, the people in the challenge are what is the icing on the cake for me.
Kelly hosts live Zoom meetings (not mandatory) and the group has been very active and supportive on the Facebook page. Not only are they posting their wins, but they are asking/answering questions and offering great feedback to specific questions (What could I do to improve my website? Which video do you think is the best one to attract clients to this event?).
To make it more fun, Kelly has teams and points and prizes. I’m on TeamShine led by superstar Tishia. I’ve got my eyes on the Brownies (yes, that’s really a prize!) that Kelly will send to me after completing my challenge – but if you’re competitive, there are bigger, more amazing ($2000+value) prizes as well!
So, what do you say? Want support for something you are tackling or are you up for a business stretch challenge?
Either way, I’d love to hear from you on my Helping Parents Parent Facebook page – because this is all new for me and I’m determined to succeed! (With all the encouragement I can get, of course! 😉)
PS This will be the only blog post about this – well, maybe until next September. 😉

Wow, Renee! I LOVE how you simultaneously shared what you’re up to with your business, invited your audience to come along for the ride AND shared about the Stretch Yourself Challenge. On top of that, your writing is brilliant, masterful, and gracious. Your coaching clients and community members are so lucky to have you!
Here’s to your abundant success, and getting to know you during the SYC!

I’d be so into your group back with my now 40-something kids were kids. Glad you joined the challenge and hope some of your followers did, too. There’s room for each of us to stretch.

Sharing Kelly’s Stretch Yourself Challenge with parents is enormously helpful, thank you Renee! When parents model the freedom of a growth mindset, they help the next generation. Plus, so many parents are entrepreneurs and could really use the support when it comes to continuing to grow while parenting. Way to go!

How wonderful that you are helping parents stretch and grow …themselves and their children! Wishing you every success on your Stretch goal of building your community on Facebook!

I, too, love how you’ve involved others to support you in your challenge. That’s brilliant. I think it’s exciting that you picked a stretch of starting a Facebook Group. You never know what this new form of connection will do for you and your group members. I’m glad we’re both in this challenge trying out new things. To your success now and beyond!

I love how you’ve involved your own community with a stretch yourself challenge and leading them in their own stretches! Fabulous stretch, Renee. Thanks for your great blog post and I’m so happy you’re stretching in the SYC. Even though we’re not on the same team, I’m still cheering you on with any and all stretches you’re working on this month (and beyond!). Can’t wait to see how much we all grow throughout this month. 😍
